For sixteen years now we’ve been discovering the awesome Atlas Mountain scenarios on our bikes. Back then, very few people had ventured into the depths of that overwhelming mountain world. Here at Alventus, we were already covering the land on foot and trekking the Atlas landscape, so naturally we thought it would be a grand idea to organize a Raid along the magnificent trails that run through this mountain massif.

Nevertheless, it was clear to us from the very beginning that this should be a different kind of Raid, in which a sense of adventure should outweigh any kind of competition. We organized and designed its course to ensure intense encounters of our participants and the spectators with the environment of the Atlas. That is why, from the very beginning, our path design included remote spots and tracks through the Atlas, scaling lofty mountain passes and camping out in wild territories... Our first participants were not as many as we expected, but through them we learned what it really meant to design a Raid of this unique nature.

Ever since we began this adventure and up to today, hundreds of people have joined us in crossing the “High Atlas” on mountain bike. Specialized press, adventure & biking magazines, and regular press have also taken an interest in the event and so contributed to its growth in participants and popularity.

This growth and popularity have made the TRANS ATLAS RAID a must for all mountain cyclists and amateur or professional adventure lovers in general, this enables the race to take a proud stand among the highest and best known competitions and meetings of this kind that take place worldwide.

From October 12nd to 19th (7 days ).

• OCTOBER 12: MARRAKECH.
• OCTOBER 13: Trip to the mountains.
• 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th: Mountain bike touring adventure in the High Atlas.
• 9th OCTOBER: Ouarzazate  – Marrakech – Madrid or Barcelona.
